Back a few years ago when t2 shifter was rockin hard there was a version i want to say shifter v 41 - v44 that had MDM mortars and also allowed airbases right over NME bases....remember the fun days??

well we at www.diversifiedgamers.com ( some former HC members among others) are looking inot playing t2 again and are hoping some of you still are in contact with LeHasardeur (webmaster) or Lex (guys who i think archived all the old versions of shifter)

LeHas emailed me liek version 43 a cpl years ago - hope he is a pack rat still

Any help would be great......

And yes I could also see if any of you kow if EMO or terrox ever released the source code too!!??

thanks guys!!

LYNCH

Yea good to see you too... we have a TV team still going strong here. We have a 42 team and BFV team as well. I think all the H|C peeps should break down and join forces with us for BF2. We could be the Hardcore Wolves.

FYI Fumi is not a doctor, but he recently had a ball and chain attached... to think there is a Mrs Fumi now... poor girl.

Will you guys have enough to fill a team for BF2? We have always been allies and had a good time together... would be fun to play as a team and not have to worry about rounding our our rosters.

Hmmm ... pack rat ... seems yes ... but I ask myself why I still have all this old stuff on my harddrive ... maybe thats a reason I run out of diskspace all the time ...

Anyways, here is Shifter 41,42 and 44. It seems I have almost any version between 41 and 55f, so if you need a different one ...

Hump - sounds good - I will post it as well on our forums (DG) and keep you posted

easy way to...like yousay...not have to round out a complete roster

Le Has - comes thru again!! thanx a ton!!

THis Kicks ass - I will have to try to have a t2 server up with shifter and version 41 up by tomorrow night - We (well riptorn does) rent a kick ass server form scout smash that sits on a t3 up in canada somewhere - so it will be as nice as jedi and scout smashes server in the old HC days!!

come look around if youguys wanna goof off!!

We will have it up under the =[DG]= Diversified Gamers name in the server!

Hi Everyone! Long time no see! (peepers here)

Anyway, Lynch told me to look you guys up, so here I am. We're trying to get a Shifter server running with the good/playable versions. In addition, us guys over at DG will be playing BF2 (whenever it comes out) and some play BF42. Anyway...

We also got into Joint Operations, which is still pretty fun and America's army.

Well, I check back with ya'll soon.

Later,

M

Peepers eh? lol

All Shifter versions can allow airbases to be deployed over enemy bases. It is a matter of the serverconfigs. All you have to do is allow deploy range from flag to be 1 meter or less.

Sometime back I made a Shifterguide for newbies with an Install guide as well:

www.Black-Chapter.com/shifter

You can download the lastest player client there...

Our BC server as well as the DG server are up and running

We allow are more liberal with deployable ranges... but you still have to be 250m from bases I think...

If anyone still wants to play some Shifter I think we are having a game tonight on the Shifter Xtreme server.
