What is everyone's favourite type of music? I love Metal and Metalcore and the like. Favourite bands would have to include H.I.M., Nirvana, As I Lay Dying, Black Dahlia Murder, Naglfar, Lamb of God... the list goes on. What is SOW into?

I am old school. I like the old punk bands like Dead Kennedys, Lard, Black Flag, some rockabilly like Rev. Hornton Heat also. I also listen to all the classical rock. But DK and Led Zepplin are my fav. LOL I am old. Realized that this weekend with my daughter.

QUOTE (Devildog @ Jul 19 2005, 04:56 PM)
I am old school. I like the old punk bands like Dead Kennedys, Lard, Black Flag,

LARD? I didn't think anyone ever listened to that band! The Power of LARD!!
Wow, that brings me back to the Revolting Cocks/Pigface/Ministry/Skinny Puppy days.

My favorite all time bands in no particular order are

Sonic Youth
Radiohead
Pink Floyd
James Brown
Skinny Puppy

Lately Ive really been digging Queens of the Stone Age, that band ROCKS!

Only one band worth listening too...

Louis XIV

Its about the sexiest thing I've ever heard

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (you can taste the whiskey and cigarettes)
Gomez (bluesy english hippies that have amazing energy)
Spiritualized (picture a modern Pink Floyd, prog retro rock)
Super Furry Animals (maddest show I've seen, includes actual Gorilla suits)
The Soundtrack of Our Lives (Swedish)
Gorillaz (white guy hip hop)
Oasis (yes)
Sound Tribe Sector 9 (phaze out)
Radiohead (Best live shows ever)
Bloc Party (more english tude)

And the roots of my music are...
The Stone Roses

I used to be big into going to concerts, then I had to get up and go to work, so I've slowed down a bit, but still love live music

I love music.
