LOL! Has, you just made me feel better, as there is no way I can ever get a stupid subscription to stupid fileplanet... oh well.

(oh well, at least the Warhammer 40,000 dawn of war beta was for all fileplanet subscribers, not just the paying ones! )

Hehe yah what kinda info you guys want? I've been tearing it up for about 10-12 hours a night

Well here is some info, first of all the couple maps they realised aren't epic, they are very close quarters, The vehicles suck (but remeber this is still beta).

Game play is very smooth and pretty fast paced. (a LOT faster than T2 base).

The game itself looks amazing (After all it is the unreal engine).

The problem i've seen so far.

1. mortars unless you do a direct hit, are horrible
2. chaingun rips people apart (way overpowered right now)
3. I'm not a huge fan of how deployables work (you grab them off deployable stands, no purchasing, you just have so many stands and that's it, and when the deployable you placed is destroyed it takes the stand 15-20 seconds to respawn one)
4. skiing is now holding down your space button that's it no more skill involved in skiing (you cat could do it, just put some catnip on the space bar)
5. limited to 32 players right now, big no-no, we need those epic 64vs64 massive map battles.

But honestly the game is amazing, and I think will only get better.

they need to smooth out the favs and make the invo's require 1 less step... too much work currently... and yeah, the deployables suck.

Yup I agree,

But that disc launcher is nasty, Nailed someone last night in mid-air killed him 1 shot (he was a medium).

I ca see it getting much better, I've done a lot of digging through forums and found some GUI layout mods, make your in game screen look like T2 (which i liked) and less like T:V (which imho sucks).

I'll stick them on my website if anyone is interested.

Apprently it's going to be super mod-able. A lot of people are allready working on maps/mod/enhancements. So I'm stocked it's going to turn out to be a great game.

Just don't mention anything over at the shiftermod forums *snicker*, some of them are upset they have to pay for early access to the beta, And are upset no one gave them there copy lol
